Epitome of Sacrifice

There’s something about this piece that feels unusually direct to me.

Whenever I look at it, it feels less like I’m looking at a drawing of Christ and more like I’m looking straight into His face. A few people who have seen it have told me they felt the same thing.

That is probably what stayed with me most while making it.
